WHO WE ARE

Established in 1977, our unit is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to help those lost and injured in our community. We rely on donations and fundraisers to fund our life-saving operations. 

We work with the Thurston County Sheriff's Office to conduct missing person searches in rural and urban settings, recovery missions, evidence searches, and flood control operations.

We are a part of the Washington Explorer Search and Rescue (WESAR), a statewide organization comprised of youth and adult volunteers. ​​
